In Detail: Curfew Timings & Restrictions for Districts in Assam

So, the state government is persisting with adequate containment measures and restrictions in both rural and urban areas across the state. Directives have been issued which will be valid from 5 AM of June 16, 2021 till 5 AM of June 22, 2021.

If the positivity rate for Covid cases reaches 5% or more in urban areas and 10% or more in rural areas, the District Magistrate will declare such areas as containment zones and necessary steps will be taken to contain the spread of the virus.
