The health department of Karimganj has announced that there will be a vaccination drive on Thursday, 10th June at 5 vaccination centres for people above the age of 45.
Five vaccination centres are -
DRDA Office, Settlement Road
DIC office, Longai Road
PWD Engineering office, Subhashnagar
1082 No Sishu Vidyapeeth, Silchar Road
DSA Clubhouse Model Vaccination Centre.
All the vaccination centres will start their vaccination drive on Thursday, from 10 AM onwards. Everyone at the 5 vaccination centres will be administered with 1st or 2nd dose of the Covisheild vaccine. However, the DSA Clubhouse Modal Vaccination Centre will also administer a 2nd dose of the Covaxin vaccine to people above the age of 45.
The District Administration of Karimganj has asked the citizens to carry their necessary identity proof such as a Voter ID card, Pan card or Aadhar card along with them to their nearest vaccination centres. The District Administration has also urged the citizens to maintain necessary Covid protocols such as hand sanitizing, social distancing and double masking in the vaccination centres .
