COVID-19 Grievance redressal cell in Karimganj District


A District Grievance Redressal Cell for COVID-19 was formed in Karimganj district on Friday, May 28 under an order issued by District Magistrate Khageshwar Pegu. The six-member cell is headed by ADC (Health), Joint Director of Health, ADC PK Gupta, District Surveillance Officer Dr. Anup Kumar Daityari, NHM DPM Hanif Mohammad, K Alam, DDMA, Gulbahar Raj as Nodal Officer and Siju Das, District Media as members.

The District Grievance Redressal Room for Covid will immediately resolve all COVID related issues. The assigned phone number is 9394443134. Complaints received through 104 or by the mentioned phone number or social media posts will be addressed by the cell, as well as the treatment of COVID victims and funeral-related issues after the death of the COVID-infected person will have the highest priority. The cell will make follow-up calls to ensure that the complainants' grievances are resolved through the District Call Center at COVID-19 upto a satisfactory level.

Meanwhile, the district administration has set up a dedicated Tele-medicine facility with helpline number 9864841529 for COVID-19 patients in home isolation. A call center has also been set up to provide medical assistance to COVID patients in home isolation from 10 AM to 5 PM.
